Another wedding update…
As we’re getting legally married in Australia, we needed to have our NOIM (Notice of Intended Marriage) sorted for the Aussies! It works really similarly to how it works here but we just have to send everything off to our lovely celebrant for her to file the paperwork in Oz. We needed to go to a notary and there happens to be one at the Australian Embassy in London so we thought why not make the documentation part extra special.
We had to book a slot in advance as they only offer the notary service on certain days and at specific times. As we were down in Ascot for a wedding on bank holiday weekend, we decided to book in on our way back up on the Tuesday. It was a lovely experience and all the staff we dealt with were fantastic. In and out in around half an hour and all done and sorted!
