I was so excited to work on Ellen & Jack’s florals, not only because they’d opted for a fully dried flower wedding (which I LOVED!) but because I’ve known this lovely couple since school. They weren’t together back then but were really great friends, which is an amazing foundation for any couple.
When it came to the flowers the couple wanted to go for a mixed autumnal colour scheme using all dried stems, which was an absolute dream brief for me. I got to work sourcing the best mix of dried flowers and we worked really closely on the look and feel.
E&J really wanted to put their own spin on things and do something a little different, and a venue (and team!) like Ponden Mill really allows you to do that. It’s a space you can make your own and the team there really celebrates that. Each wedding there is truly unique. When I arrived to set up they were so welcoming, on hand to help E&J and their families with anything they needed, and it felt really cool and collaborative.
As you can see from the amazing photos, the couple had the most fantastic photographer. Lily’s work is so beautiful and it sounds like E&J had the best day with her. All photos below by LNW…
