I’ve known Tom and Anissa for a few years now, and to be asked to do their wedding flowers was a huge honour. They are such a wonderful couple and truly deserve all the happiness in the world.
I absolutely loved the brief I was given – burgundy, blush, pink and foliage to go with blush bridesmaid dresses, navy suits, and the most gorgeous white wedding dress. I paired burgundy chrysanthemums with ruby hydrangea to get a nice variety of textures, and matched this with roses, lisianthus, astilbe, skimmia, and a few different types of foliages.
After not one but two rearrangements due to Covid, the couple were able to wed with a smaller gathering at the gorgeous Rudding Park in December 2020. The hugely talented Liz Baker was on hand to capture their big day…
