An autumnal wedding

Rose gold and copper lend themselves perfectly to an autumn wedding. An afternoon of crafting led to some lovely ideas for an October/November wedding so I thought I’d share the results…

I picked up a selection of ribbons from my local haberdashery store – I may have gone a little overboard but I kept seeing more and more lovely colours!

Rose gold, champagne gold, and mocha are just a few of the ones I picked out.

I thought these, mixed with twine, would make the perfect addition to some jar arrangements. I picked up some Parvey and clipped a few bits off the conifer tree in the garden and got to work. I have a large stock of jars (all recycled!) so had a rummage in my store cupboard for some mismatched jars to hold the foliage.

A jar on its own can look lovely when used as a table centre or as part of a wider arrangement. I decided to jazz mine up a little with some rose gold and copper spray paint (and a few bits of conifer too!) and I was really impressed with the results of that and my leaf garlands…

I used the leftover materials to make some autumnal buttonholes, which match nicely with the table centres…

Mom so excited that autumn is finally in fill swing and can’t wait to work on some more lovely projects.
