York city centre has lots of lovely green spaces to relax in, one of which is the lush Museum Gardens just a few minutes walk from the train station.
During the middle of the day the gardens are home to local workers on their lunch breaks, tourists and families – there’s always something going on but there’s not shortage of areas to kick up and relax.
