Museum Gardens, York, Summer 2018

York city centre has lots of lovely green spaces to relax in, one of which is the lush Museum Gardens just a few minutes walk from the train station.

During the middle of the day the gardens are home to local workers on their lunch breaks, tourists and families – there’s always something going on but there’s not shortage of areas to kick up and relax.

Not only are there interesting ruins to look around and the museum to explore, but there’s loads of lovely plants and flowers to admire. It’s the perfect place to learn more about York’s amazing history, and top up your flowers and wildflower knowledge.
