Golden Acre Park, Leeds

One of my favourite places to visit when spring comes around is Golden Acre park in Leeds.

It’s a great spot to head to if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre on a sunny day – I’m looking forward to the weather picking up again so we can get out and explore.

Last time we went we took a little picnic up and treated ourselves to an ice cream afterwards. There’s plenty of places to sit and relax including a picnic area and a lovely little meadow.

I also love checking out the gardens to see what they’re growing and what the latest nature projects are. Last time there were some amazing purple thistles that were so beautiful!

If you hop on the x84 from the city centre you can be there in under half an hour. It’s well worth a trip.
